Benjamin and Brian

Ben is learning how to get around even if he isn't crawling yet. He can roll and scoot his away across the living room to get what he wants. I guess mom should have strapped him in his chair in this picture but he was really just testing me because he just laid there and smiled.

Ben turned a 1/2 year old on Sunday, December 10th. Monday he had his 6 month checkup at the doctor's office. He is up to 17 pounds 4 ounces. He is 27 1/2 inches tall. That puts him in the 50th percentile for weight and 90th percentile for height...exactly like his cousin Nathan. The Dr. said he is very healthy and was so impressed by his ability to sit up so well. I tried to explain to her that he is alittle advanced for his age but she just smiled and said O.K. This is the first Dr. appointment that Dad wasn't able to make it to, so Mom had to hold him for his 4 shots. He took it like a Pierce...cried as hard as he could for a minute then started flirting with the nurse.
